OVRONNAZ
Situated at the foot of the Muverans mountain range, Ovronnaz is a pretty mountain resort belonging to the municipality of Leytron. I was lucky enough to spend most of my winter school holidays in the family chalet. Those memories are still magical. The calm, the serenity, everything was perfect. The atmosphere in Ovronnaz was invigorating and simply amazing.

The resort is geographically well located 15 min drive from the plain and halfway between the cultural towns of Sion and Martigny. This authentic village enjoys optimal sunshine and panoramic views of the Rhone Valley and the Alpine peaks.
Ovronnaz en hiver
The Ovronnaz ski resort was built in 1954 on the heights above the village. Renowned for its invigorating climate, with 30 km of perfectly marked runs, it enjoys a superb natural environment and benefits from exceptional snow cover.
Ski & Bath is the ultimate combination for holidays in Ovronnaz. There's nothing more pleasant than relaxing in the invigorating warmth of the thermal baths after an intense day's skiing.
From the baby lift in the resort to the top of the slopes at Tsantonnaire, the resort offers skiers of all ages and abilities a multitude of thrills in a magnificent snowy setting.
Ovronnaz also caters for non-skiers, with 20 km of footpaths, 11 km of snowshoe trails, a toboggan run and a Nordic centre with three cross-country/skating loops. Hiking enthusiasts will love the wide open spaces drenched in powder snow.

On a plateau at an altitude of 1,400 m, with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and the Rhône Valley. Mountain bikers will also find a variety of routes here.
In operation from June to October, the Ovronnaz-Jorasse chairlift allows visitors to take to the heights as soon as the snow melts, for a wide range of hikes and activities, on foot, by bike or on all-terrain scooters for sporty descents. Families are sure to love the various themed trails that take them on exhilarating strolls through the mountain's enchanting landscapes in summer. Younger visitors will love the free pony rides, as well as the Mini Zoo and its farm animals.
